Tor BrowserWhat is Tor Browser?

“The Tor software protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody watching your Internet connection from learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location, and it lets you access sites which are blocked.
Tor Browser lets you use Tor on Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux without needing to install any software. It can run off a USB flash drive, comes with a pre-configured web browser to protect your anonymity, and is self-contained (portable).”

mechanical keyboard switches for gaming

By | NEWS | No Comments

A quintessential part of any setup—be it gaming rig or otherwise—is a good keyboard. It’s your trusty aide when you’re pounding your opponents in Counter Strike and commanding your army in Starcraft. As such, it deserves as much recognition and respect as the graphics card you have in your case. With more switches now available in more keyboards, we’ve refreshed our guide to let you know what’s what.

There are two core keyboard types: Mechanical keyboards have individual key switches and metal springs. Rubber dome keyboards—most modern, cheap keyboards—have a sheet of rubber that provides the resistance, tactile feeling, and registers the keypress to the computer. Mechanical key switches give an unmistakable, stronger feedback as you type in the form of feeling a bump, hearing a click, and/or feeling a smooth bottom out to the keyboard’s base. Not only does it feel more satisfying than a rubber dome keyboard, it can be more precise, too.

In the early days, choosing a gaming keyboard meant a binary decision of going with either Cherry MX or membrane. That’s no longer the case. Instead, the market is now saturated with a ton of switches that offer a wide range of characteristics. The massive selection can be overwhelming even for a seasoned gamer. We’re hoping to make that decision a little less daunting with our keyboard switch guide.  Read More

Samsung Galaxy S9 review: predictably great, predictably flawed

There comes a factor in greatest fruitful stock’ presences in which they wind up unsurprising. the new model, building off of the triumphs of its past model, proceeds with the equivalent appearance and feel while presenting more noteworthy diffused upgrades. Mac’s utilized this tack with the iPhone and iPad for two or three ages, and Microsoft has achieved the same with the surface prepared lately. Try not to cause trouble; don’t repair what isn’t harmed. Read More

Global Warming Real

Global Warming

By | NEWS | No Comments

In recent years, global warming has been the subject of a great deal of political controversy. As scientific knowledge has grown, this debate is moving away from whether humans are causing warming and toward questions of how best to respond.

Signs that the Earth is warming are recorded all over the globe. The easiest way to see increasing temperatures is through the thermometer records kept over the past century and a half. Around the world, the Earth’s average temperature has risen more than 1 degree Fahrenheit (0.8 degrees Celsius) over the last century, and about twice that in parts of the Arctic.

Intel unveils its first chips with AMD’s Vega graphics

By | NEWS | No Comments

The fruits of Intel and AMD’s unprecedented partnership are finally here. Intel just unveiled its 8th generation Core CPUs with AMD’s RX Vega M, bringing together its fastest mobile processors with graphics capabilities that used to required a dedicated GPU. Together, they’ll lead to thinner and lighter laptops with decent gaming chops. While we got an overview of the chips back in November, we finally have more details at CES. And, simply put, gamers should be pleased.

Fittingly, Intel is plugging AMD’s RX Vega M module into the first batch of its high-powered “H-series” 8th generation Core chips. These are the processors that are typically paired with dedicated GPUs, like NVIDIA’s GTX 10-series line. Now, for the first time, Intel has a custom all-in-one solution.

Light Field Labs 3D Holograms no glasses Deep Dive

Light Field Labs 3D Holograms no glasses Deep Dive

By | NEWS

Last year at NAB conference, Light Field Labs announced their plans to make a Holographic monitor. If it had not been for the names of the founders and their work at Lytro, such a press release would be easy to dismiss. The word hologram gets tossed around quite a lot, but this team seemed incredibly qualified to actually deliver. Light Field Labs was founded in 2017 by Jon Karafin, Brendan Bevensee, and Ed Ibe. Three exceptionally qualified serious light field experts. Karafin came from Digital Domain, Bevensee has a PhD in Particle physics (he worked on the Hadron Collider) and Ibe’s track record goes back to IBM and is marked by a strong mechanical engineering background. All three men were in the leadership team behind the Lytro Cinema Technology, and in particular the professional high end Cinema camera and capture system. The Lytro Cinema camera has 755 RAW Megapixels, runs up to 300 fps with up to an incredible 16 stops of Dynamic Range and records a whopping 400 gigabytes per second. The Light Field Lab team in the past has made both consumer and professional products and successfully delivered them to the market.

Aerodynamicists use wind tunnels to test models of proposed aircraft and engine components. During a test, the model is placed in the test section of the tunnel and air is made to flow past the model. In some wind tunnel tests, the aerodynamic forces on the model are measured. In some wind tunnel tests, the model is instrumented to provide diagnostic informationabout the flow of air around the model. In some wind tunnel tests, flow visualization techniques are used to provide diagnostic information about the flow around the model.

BondicEVO

BondicEVO

By | NEWS

We’re big fans of Bondic, the plastic welding substance that originally came out in 2014. With its ability to create new plastic material for bonding, fixing, and filling stuff, it has become the go-to repair solution for problems that super glue and similar products just aren’t equipped to handle. This year, they’re turning out the second generation of the product with the BondicEVO.

A modified version of the plastic welding tool, the new product retains the same formula as the original Bondic, all while coming with a new design for both the pen applicator and the UV curing agent. To the unfamiliar, the original used separate tools for the applicator and the UV light, so you first apply the product using the pen, then pick up the UV light to cure it.

The BondicEVO, on the other hand, combines both items in a single handheld tool, so you can quickly switch to curing the plastic as soon as you apply it by simply turning on the light and aiming the lighted tip at the specific area. With two tools in one, it’s also a little bigger in size than the old design, which should make it a whole lot harder to lose and misplace, all while providing a steady and ambidextrous grip that’s a lot more ergonomic than the previous setup.  They also fitted it with a more powerful UV LED to enable a faster curing time than the four seconds it takes the original.
